Just a 5 minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes into the city centre we are ideally located, with our courtesy shuttle we can pickup tired passengers and ferry them back to our motel to relax and get ready for the rest of their holiday.
The Airport Birches Motel, offers eleven modern, ground floor, studio, one and two bedroom units, so we can cater for single travellers, couples, families and large groups. Be it for the a single night, or a long term stay we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Situated on the cross roads between south and west we are also an excellent location for heading out and seeing the New Zealand countryside. As well as that we are only 4 kilometres from Christchurch Airport, and 8 kilometres from the Christchurch City, allowing easy access to both parts of Christchurch. With the Hub Hornby only a 5 minute drive down the road for supplies. We are also one of the closet motels to both the Riccarton Racecourse and the Ruapuna Speedway.

Studio Units
Our studio unit consists of one Queen bed. Kitchenette, LCD TV with en suite bathroom and shower.
One Bedroom Units
One bedroom unit, with a King in the main room with a single in the adjoining room. Kitchenette, TV with en suite bathroom and shower.
Two Bedroom Units
We have two, two bedroom units, one consisting of a queen and two singles, the other consisting of a queen and two bunk style beds. Both rooms have a fold down couch, full kitchen, TV and en suite bathroom and shower.
Spa Units
We have two, spa bath units, one consisting of a queen bed and personal spa unit, the other consisting of a king bed and double spa bath. Both rooms include the usual kitchenette, TV and en suite bathroom and shower.
