The Airport Birches Motel, offers eleven modern, ground floor, studio, one and two bedroom units, so we can cater for single travelers, couples, families and large groups. Be it for the a single night, or a long term stay we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Our courtesy shuttle allows us to offer our clients transfers during shuttle hours (9:00am - 1:00am everyday, except, Xmas Eve, Day, Boxing Day and New Years Eve, Day.), this shuttle service only runs to the Christchurch Airport and from the Railway station in Addington.
If you are heading out of the country on those early morning flights we are only a 5 minute drive and can oranise you a wakeup call. Or if need be a taxi, with discounted rates through a local operator.

Our Rooms
Studio Units
Our studio unit consists of one Queen bed. Kitchenette, LCD TV with en suite bathroom and shower.
One Bedroom Units
One bedroom unit, with a King in the main room with a single in the adjoining room. Kitchenette, TV with en suite bathroom and shower.
Two Bedroom Units
We have two, two bedroom units, one consisting of a queen and two singles, the other consisting of a queen and two bunk style beds. Both rooms have a fold down couch, full kitchen, TV and en suite bathroom and shower.
Spa Units
We have two, spa bath units, one consisting of a queen bed and personal spa unit, the other consisting of a king bed and double spa bath. Both rooms include the usual kitchenette, TV and en suite bathroom and shower.
